Is there anything wrong with wearing a one piece speedo bathing suit with a workout skirt to the gym?
I was thinking about changing my style from just a sports bra and shorts. Would this look OK? I sweat a ton and though it would absorb the sweat better. Thanks.
Try it! It should work better (and Lycra ALWAYS looks better). Cotton absorbs and HOLDS water (sweat) much longer than nylon so with cotton you will be uncomfortable much much longer. ALL the top athletes use Nylon (Lycra, Spandex) because it wicks moisture from the body to be evaporated. (Did you watch the Olympics)? The key is to have air flow (as when running, wind, etc.) to evaporate the moisture from the suit. There is also a cooling effect when evaporating moisture so be ready for that.
You know this because ALL swim suits are Lycra and Nylon not cotton because they dry fast and feel good. The short skirt will also give much better freedom of movement than shorts. The skirt also needs to be Nylon with Lycra to be flexible.
All in all you have nothing to lose and everything to gain...do it!
